Mechanical properties of ffc flexible cable
The flexible cable is also known as ffc cable. Its structure is characterized by a parallel arrangement in the form of a ribbon, and its flat shape makes it have good mechanical properties and can be moved, bent and twisted in equipment without breaking the wire and damaging it.
The mechanical properties of ffc soft liner wire mainly refers to the following characteristics.
(1) resistance to 180 ° zigzag: zigzag back and forth once each (1Cycle), conductor thickness 0.035mm, 30Cycle above; conductor thickness 0.05mm, 20Cycle above, and then measured and observed, no damage and meet the electrical performance requirements.
(2) Curvature resistance: conductor thickness less than 0.035mm, bending arc R15±5mm, gliding distance 50mm, 500 times / min speed to do curvature test 1 million times, no damage to the appearance and meet the electrical performance requirements.
(3) abrasion resistance: R0.5mm, load 600±5g, 60 times / min speed, stroke 100mm long to do horizontal abrasion test 10000 times, no damage to the appearance and meet the electrical performance requirements.
(4) peel strength: puller to 25 +/- 3mm/min speed peel test, test the adhesion of the adhesive film and conductor, reinforcement plate and conductor, adhesive film and reinforcement plate. The adhesion force meets the requirements.
(5) Repeated plugging and unplugging: at a speed of 10 times/min, the FPC connector is plugged and unplugged 30 times with suitable FPC connectors, with no damage to the appearance and meet the electrical performance requirements.
