August 15, according to the website of the National Bureau of Statistics, in July 2019, 70 large and medium-sized cities announced changes in the sale price of commercial housing.

     Preliminary estimates show that sales prices of newly built commercial residential buildings in four first-tier cities rose by 0.3% annually, an increase of 0.1 percentage points over the previous month. Among them: Beijing and Guangzhou rose by 0.6% and 0.3%, Shenzhen was flat, Shanghai fell by 0.1%.


     Sales prices of second-hand housing rose 0.3% year-on-year, unchanged last month. Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen rose 0.4%, 0.4% and 0.7% respectively, while Beijing fell 0.3%.


     Sales prices of newly built commercial housing in 31 second-tier cities rose by 0.7% annually, falling by 0.1 percentage points from last month, while sales prices of second-hand housing rose by 0.4% and increased by 0.1 percentage points from last month.



      Sales prices of newly built commercial housing and second-hand housing in 35 third-tier cities rose by 0.7% annually, the same increase as last month.


     Sales prices of newly-built commercial housing and second-hand housing in the first, second and third-tier cities have fallen in varying degrees from the same period last year.



     Preliminary estimates show that in July, sales prices of newly built commercial housing in first-tier cities rose 4.3% year-on-year, a decline of 0.1 percentage points compared with last month; sales prices of second-hand housing rose 0.2% year-on-year, the same increase as last month.



     Sales prices of newly-built commercial housing and second-hand housing in second-tier cities rose by 10.7% and 6.7% year-on-year, respectively. The increase was 0.7 and 0.9 percentage points lower than last month.

Sales prices of newly built commercial housing and second-hand housing in third-tier cities rose by 10.2% and 7.1% year on year, respectively. The increase was 0.7 and 0.8 percentage points lower than last month.
